Daniel da Silva holds a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, specializing in Automation, from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto.

After contributing to research and development projects focused on autonomous vehicles at the University of Porto, Daniel joined GEOLOG in 2015 through the company's fast-track Data Engineer program. His career path has combined hands-on field experience with operational and technical roles, including assignments within clients' Real-Time Operations Centers (RTOCs). Over the years, he has developed extensive expertise in data management, data transmission, KPI analytics, and digital services for drilling and wellsite operations.

Today, Daniel serves as Digital Solutions Domain Expert at GEOLOG, where he leads a multidisciplinary team responsible for supporting the development, strategy, and implementation of digital solutions for clients worldwide. He also plays a key role in advancing GEOLOG's global digital strategy and supporting business development initiatives across the digitalization and data-driven operations landscape.
Passionate about transforming data into operational value, Daniel works closely with operators, drilling teams, and technology partners to bridge the gap between digital innovation and practical business outcomes.
