Dimas Reyes is a Petroleum Engineer and holds a Master's degree in Business and Technology, with more than 23 years of experience in the oil and gas industry across Latin America. He currently serves as Production Engineering and Well Services Manager at PECOM Energy, where he leads initiatives focused on production optimization, artificial lift systems, well intervention strategies, data analytics, and the application of artificial intelligence to mature field operations.
Throughout his career, Dimas has worked in Argentina, Mexico, Ecuador, and Venezuela, contributing to projects involving sucker rod pumps (SRP), electric submersible pumps (ESP), progressive cavity pumps (PCP), nodal analysis, production optimization, and digital transformation. He has also served as an international instructor, delivering technical training on artificial lift and production engineering in several countries across the region.
His current professional focus is on integrating production engineering, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence to improve operational decision-making, enhance well performance, and accelerate the digital transformation of upstream operations.
